I giardinetti della Pescheria

Un angolo di verde fermo nel tempo. Panchine, sedie di plastica, tavolinetti, le partite a carte, il carretto delle granite. Nel cuore di Catania, alle spalle dell’affollatissima Pescheria, il mercato del pesce della città, un piccolo spazio verde racchiude l’essenza di un’intera città.

Piazza del Duomo

La cattedrale di Sant’Agata, la fontana dell’Elefantino, Via Etnea, le scale della Pescheria. Tutta Catania in una Piazza; è il centro della Città e quindi ci si passa più e più volte. State sicuri che ogni volta qualcosa di nuovo vi colpirà, dai musicisti alle serate di Tango organizzate in estate nel centro della piazza.

La scalinata di Prospettiva Nievski

Un’osteria ormai parte della storia di Catania, sia sociale che politica. Qui nascono nuove mode, qui la parte underground della città si incontra e si confronta, scoprendo di volta in volta nuove mode o nuove lotte. Un posto da non perdere, un modo diverso di viversi Catania e per scoprire l’altra metà della città: quella che vive di notte.

L’Etna

Terra nera, terra di fuoco, aria bruciata. È affascinante guardarlo da Catania, è emozionante poterlo scalare; l’auto può portarci fino a metà strada, poi bisogna affrontare, a piedi, le salite e i crateri spenti se si vuole arrivare in cima. Le lunghe lingue di lava delle precedenti eruzioni accompagnano lo sguardo, zigzagando tra chiazze di verde lasciate indenni dal fuoco. I vulcani da sempre conquistano l’immaginario di ognuno e l’Etna, con la sua imponenza, non è da meno.
