MUBA. A Milano un centro di cultura per bambini

MUBA, centro di cultura differenziata per bambini. È questo il nome del progetto nato meno di due mesi fa a Milano, alla Rotonda di Via Besana; un luogo prezioso del patrimonio pubblico milanese pensato per accogliere le scuole e le famiglie, un posto sicuro e protetto circondato dallo storico giardino, uno spazio a misura dei bambini.

Il MUBA nasce con l’obiettivo di essere un centro permanente di progetti culturali e artistici dedicati all’infanzia, un luogo aperto all’innovazione che riunisce le eccellenze nazionali e internazionali della cultura, della didattica e delle arti.

La programmazione prevede tre grandi mostre all’anno, contemporaneamente agli eventi di punta della città: Salone del Mobile, Piano City, Book City.
I progetti e i laboratori riguarderanno i temi dedicati agli argomenti caldi, come l’ambiente, l’alimentazione, l’integrazione, il tutto sviluppato secondo specifici criteri pedagogici che intendono favorire ed incoraggiare il pensiero creativo dei bambini e prepararli ad una società che richiede atteggiamenti responsabili.

All’interno della Rotonda è presente un bookshop e aprirà a brevissimo la caffetteria Rotonda Bistro, entrambi con proposte dedicate in modo particolare al pubblico di MUBA: un’attenta selezione di libri e giochi e menù speciali a misura di bambino.

Alla libreria Rotonda Corraini si possono trovare libri per bambini piccoli, libri per bambini grandi, libri per bambini che parlano e anche per quelli che ancora non lo fanno, libri per grandi che vogliono saperne di più sui piccoli, ma anche libri per grandi che vogliono rimanere bambini.


Rotonda Bistro sarà un posto in cui le famiglie godranno il parco in assoluta tranquillità: anche il loggiato e il giardino infatti diventeranno spazi di condivisione poiché, dalla primavera, Rotonda Bistro avrà anche un dehor nel parco. Qui si potrà gustare cibo a chilometri zero, bere un aperitivo all’aperto in un posto sicuro e protetto con la propria famiglia, provare le specialità “for kids” e scoprire il contenuto del “cestino pic-nic”.
Il MUBA, inoltre, fa parte del circuito Happy Popping, che identifica i luoghi pubblici in cui le mamme possono allattare e cambiare liberamente i propri bambini in spazi dedicati.


La prima mostra-gioco che inaugura la programmazione di MUBA si intitola “Scatole”, sarà aperta fino al prossimo 31 marzo e indaga il concetto di scatola attraverso il tema della scoperta, dell’esplorazione sensoriale, dello sviluppo del pensiero progettuale creativo: diverse aree tematiche proporranno esperienze dirette sui concetti di volume, dentro-fuori, tridimensionalità e percezione.

MUBA ospita in modo permanente anche ReMida Milano, il progetto didattico e artistico che si basa sul riuso creativo dei materiali di scarto a fini educativi, con workshop dedicati a varie fasce d’età e aperti alle scuole.
Dal 23 gennaio al 31 marzo, inoltre, il MUBA ospiterà, con ingresso libero, la mostra “L’essenza e l’eccesso”, a cura di Paolo Ulian e prodotta da Best Up, circuito per la promozione dell’abitare sostenibile.
La mostra è costituita da 24 coppie di oggetti. Ogni coppia risponde ad una funzione – mangiare, bere , lavare, scrivere – in modo “essenziale” o “eccessivo”.
La mostra e i laboratori che l’accompagnano ci invitano a farci domande sulle scelte che ognuno fa quotidianamente e a migliorarle per proteggere la Terra e tutte le creature che la abitano.
